WHY USE THE SPX STRATEGY?
30 TO 50% PROFIT RANGE PER TRADE
Since I receive credit up front, I shoot for a 30%-50% of max profit on each trade. Typically only hold these trades 7 days or less due to the quick theta. On fast runs, we’ll shoot for 30% of max profit with up to 50% or more on the same day of placing.
Finished 2023 with a 95.57% win rate, 2022 with 94.40% win rate, and 2021 with a 97.74% win rate.
Selling out of the money (OTM) credit spreads provides an advantage over buying long options. By selling OTM, I immediately gain a higher probability of success.

You can place these trades in the morning, set your exit price and move on with your day. Rarely do you need to manage intra day. Most these trades last is an average of 2.63 days.

HOW DOES THIS WORK?
- Each morning I check the premarket index futures to get a general idea on market conditions.
- I will typically alert 1 trade each day , pending market conditions. These are alerted between market open and noon.
- Set your 50% exit price and let the trade play out.
- Most times, trades end up being a day trade or out the next day.
Actual Trade Alert: SPX vCs (Vertical Call Spread)
This play was alerted in the morning when markets were near their highs and received $1.05 in credit. Markets dropped a bit and I was able to close this trade almost exactly 1 day later for a 47.62% gain at $0.55c.
